Terms and conditions

When you reach in Ikaria, a member from our team will be on the requested pick-up location, holding a sign with your name. For your identification to proceed, you should keep handy your civil ID and your driving license.

You can pick up the car from 06:00am - 12:30 am

The charge is 30 euros for picking up cars between 12:30 am- 05:30 am

You can drop off the car 24/7, free of charge.

You can pick up your chosen rental car anywhere on the island (port, airport, hotel, any spot in Ikaria). The same goes for drop-off.

Pickup and Dropoff Locations

Our rental office offers Delivery and Pickup anywhere in Ikaria.

We may deliver your vehicle right to you at your arrival at:

- Our Office

- Ikaria Port (Evdilos)

- JIK Airport meeting point

- Ikaria Port (Agios Kirikos) meeting point

- Any Hotel in Ikaria

Age Requirements

Minimum Age: 21 - People below 21 years old are not allowed to make any car reservations

Age 21 to 78 - People within this age range can make reservations for any available vehicle as long as they have a valid driving license.

Age 79 to 79 - People older than 79 years should have reissued their driving license to be able to make any car reservations.

Age 80 and over

You should be 21-years-old or older. Credit card in your own name must be presented at time of Rental.

Additional Drivers

1 additional drivers permitted

Minimum Age for Additional Drivers: 23

Additional drivers must have a driving license (of your country) of at least 1 year.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles must be returned with the fuel tank: As It Left

Fuel surcharges will apply. Price depends on current market. Ask at counter.

Deposit Requirements

Cash deposits are accepted.

The following are also accepted for deposit:

Collision Damage Waiver is an optional service which, if accepted, reduces your financial liability for damage to the vehicle, its parts and accessories, provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The waiver carries an excess/deductible of 250-350 euros. This means that the renter will be liable for the first 300 euros amount in case of an accident. The excess excludes glass (windows etc), tyres and any towing.

The waiver carries an excess/deductible of 1000 Euros. This means that the renter will be liable for the first 1000 euros amount in case of an accident. The excess excludes glass (windows etc), tyres and any towing.

The waiver carries an excess/deductible of 150 Euros. Glass (windows etc), tyres and any towing are excluded

Cancelation Policy

The reservation will be confirmed through a reply e-mail. You may cancel your reservation any time before the requested pickup time. Prepaid reservations are not refundable and cannot be canceled. Reservations are valid and honored for up to three hours after the requested pick up time. However this must be during the hours of operation. If the vehicle is not picked up within three hours of the requested pick up time your reservation status will be changed to a NO SHOW. We ask that you contact with our office if you need to change the pick up time of your requested vehicle to avoid any problems. For standard cars (fullsize cars and smaller ) you may cancel the same day with no penalty.

Insurance and Coverage

CDW is an insurance limiting your liability to the excess amount in case of damage.This insurance does not cover incidents such as damage to glass, tires, undercarriage, roof and loss of keys. Rental fees include: - Local Taxes and Vat - Third party insurance - Car Theft Protection The Excess Amount for Collision is (CDW): - 300 Euros for Fiat Panda, Hyundai I-10, Kia Picanto, Chevrolet Spark,Skoda citigo - 400 Euros for Nissan Micra, Nissan Note - 500 Euros for Suzuki Jimny, Fiat Doblo, Smart, Smart Cabrio - 600 Euros for Citroen Pluriel, Fiat 500 cc - 800 Euros for Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Evalia No insurance coverage shall apply to: - Damages caused to tires, windscreen, windows or the lower part of the car. - Damages or theft of personal belongings kept in the car. - Any incident while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. - Accidents caused when the driver has not been declared in the rental contract.

Pre Paid Rentals

Our policy is simple .All our car rentals are paid on delivery. We do not need your credit card to reserve car. If you want to pay in advance by paypal, you can send us an e-mail so we will send you a paypal request

Is it possible to cancel or modify a reservation?

Of course. Cancellation or modification of a reservation can be made at any time without any financial charge at least one month earlier.

What kind of insurance coverage is included in the price?

The listed prices include:

- Third-party liability insurance

– VAT

There is optional mixed insurance option (CDW)

If I accept mixed insurance, am I covered for any damage that may arise?

No, there are some damages that are not covered by any insurance. Such are the damage to the underside of the car, wheels and tires. You are also not covered for damages resulting from driving on uneven terrain, towing another vehicle, transporting explosives, driving in races

Is it possible to use the vehicle from an additional driver?

Yes, additional drivers can use the car without any financial charge.

The only ones required are to meet the rental conditions and be declared at the start of the rental so that they are covered by the insurance.

Are there child seats available?

Children's seats, for all ages, are available for free.

Is the international driving license necessary?

No, it is not necessary. All that is required is a valid driving license with a period of validity of more than one year.

Is there a minimum age for the driver who will rent the car?

The minimum age is 21 years .

Are there any available cars with automatic gearbox?

Yes, our fleet includes cars with automatic gearbox. All you have to do is see which one covers your needs.

Is it possible to extend the rental period of the car?

It is possible to extend the duration of the car rental as long as it is timely. (Especially during the high season)
